Eligibility & Prerequisites
You can take the exam if you:
- Have
attended the Veeam Backup & Replication v11: Architecture &
Design training, or
- Already
hold the VMCA v1 certification (valid within 12 months), or
- Completed
the older Veeam Certified Architect v1/VMCE Advanced Design course within
the last year
Also highly recommended to have VMCE certification and
hands-on experience with Veeam, virtualization, storage, and networking
Exam Format & Details
- Format:
Single case-study on the left side, with questions on the right
(split-screen format)
- Number
of questions: 40 multiple-choice (choose 1?3 answers as specified)
- Time
allowed: 90 minutes; plus a 30-minute extension for non-native English
exam delivery.

score: 70%
- Delivery:
Administered via Pearson?VUE (physical centers or online proctored)
